Click link for printable flyer

Records created by the Religious Society of Friends, (Quakers) are excellent sources for genealogical research. Quakers have been present in the Philadelphia area since the late 17th century and their fortunate descendants are able to access information including vital records, changes of residences, religious activities and personal dramas. This presentation will help participants learn the tools and strategies to identify which Quaker records will give them the information they need, locate and access those records, and then to understand the nuances of what is found.
