| Description | These records were extracted from transcriptions made by Thomas G. Myers. The transcriptions were made from the original death records filed in the office of the Bucks County Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphan's Court. In addition to the name of the deceased and date of death, a death registration record may contain the race, sex, age marital status, and occupation of the deceased, place of birth, place of death, cause of death and duration of illness, burial date and place, and the date recorded. For the death of an infant or child, the record also contains the names of the child's parents. The death records are indexed by the name of the deceased, as well as by the parents' names if listed in the record. |
