| Description | These records are abstracts of death notices published in the Riegelsville Standard newspaper between 1885 and 1886. The abstracts contain the date of publication, name of the deceased and date of death, place of residence, and in many cases the name of the spouse and/or parents of the deceased. The obituaries were abstracted and transcribed by Thomas G. Myers as a volunteer for the Bucks County Historical Society. The transcribed abstracts were donated to the Bucks County Genealogical Society by Mr. Myers with the kind permission of the Bucks County Historical Society. The original printed transcriptions are available at the Spruance Library of the Bucks County Historical Society. These entries are searchable by the name of the deceased, maiden name of married women if given, as well as by the name of the spouse and/or parent if available. |
