| Description | The Springtown Weekly Times newspaper was published weekly from Springtown, Bucks County from 1885 to 1918. The publisher was F.H. Rosenberger. These records are abstracts of marriage articles published in the Springtown Weekly Times between 1885 and 1901. The abstracts contain the date of publication, names of the bride and groom, date of marriage, and in many cases the place of residence of the parties and/or parents of the bride and groom. The articles were abstracted and transcribed by Thomas G. Myers as a volunteer for the Bucks County Historical Society. The transcribed abstracts were donated to the Bucks County Genealogical Society by Mr. Myers with the kind permission of the Bucks County Historical Society. The original printed transcriptions are available at the Mercer Museum Library of the Bucks County Historical Society. These entries are searchable by the names of the bride and groom, as well as by the names of the parents if available. |
