| Description | "Our Parish Record" was a publication for and about four Evangelical Lutheran congregations: St. John's, Richlandtown; Christ's, Trumbauersville; Emmanuel's, Franconia; and Zion's, Zion Hill. The 1887-1889 booklets listed baptisms, confirmations, marriages, and deaths occurring within these congregations during the period from 1887 to 1889. The death notices contain a wealth of information, including in most cases the name of the person who died, their parents' names (including mother's maiden name), spouse name if any, sometimes baptismal sponsors' names, and often dates of birth, baptism, and confirmation. Most also include the date and place of burial. |
