We're always looking for interesting and informative speakers on topics of genealogical interest. If you would like to be considered as a speaker at a BCGS meeting, please complete our BCGS Potential Speaker Questionnaire, and email it to programs@bucksgen.org.

Title:	*Top 10 Resources for Mid-Atlantic Genealogy*
Subject:	Dive into the fascinating world of Mid-Atlantic genealogy as we explore essential tools and repositories across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland, equipping participants with resources and strategies for uncovering their familial roots. Whether you are a novice or seasoned researcher, discover how to navigate state archives, leverage historical societies, and harness online resources to trace your ancestry with precision and confidence. Registration for this program opens on Saturday, May 31, 2025 for both members and non-members. Members, use the link in the email you will receive on Monday, June 2, to register, or log into the website, go to Members Only and select Meeting Registration. Member registration fee is $5.00. Non-members, use this link beginning on Saturday, May 31, either to register as a non-member for $10.00, or to join BCGS and register as a member for a total fee of $25.00. This presentation will be recorded. Only members who have registered for this program as members will be able to view it for 30 days following the program date, by logging in to the website and selecting "Meeting registration" from the Members-Only menu.
Speaker:	Michelle Chubenko
	Michelle Tucker Chubenko, AG, AGL is accredited in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States through the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen) and specializes in the Mid-Atlantic region and Eastern European research. She has served as Trustee with the Genealogical Society of New Jersey and the Program Chair for the Monmouth County Genealogy Society. Also, Michelle is a founding member with the “Nashi Predky/Our Ancestors” Family History Group at the Ukrainian History and Education Center (Somerset, New Jersey) and in 2023, coordinated the institute course Researching Your Ancestry in the Crownland of Galicia, Austria-Hungary. Since 2021, she has hosted a monthly Q&A Zoom session Have Questions? Get Answers for Research in Galicia.
